Bachelor of Science (Hons) Edinburgh, PhD ANU

Professor Adrian Manning is the Principal Investigator of the Coexistence Conservation Lab at The Australian National University’s Fenner School of Environment and Society.

Adrian has worked in landscape ecology and conservation biology for over 20 years, specialising in ecosystem restoration and reintroductions. His research interests include landscape ecology, restoration ecology, conservation biology, multi-scale ecology, integration of conservation and production and matrix management in past, present, and future landscapes.

He has lead research as part of the Mulligans Flat-Goorooyarroo Woodland Experiment since its establishment in 2004 which has seen the return of four locally extinct species to the Australian Capital Territory. Adrian’s passion lies in bold and innovative research that leads to real and lasting outcomes for threatened species.
